Houses in snow

The gentle whiteness contrasts with and softens the hard brick shapes.  I love the geometry of houses, the echoes and patterns of form.  Nature touches the ordinary and makes it somehow magical.

This is about spatial depth and shapes.  The forms almost resolve into solids but not quite - I like the unwillingness to conform - the way the image just evades your eye, yet the more you look, the more you understand how things were.
