My Story
I studied an art degree in London back in the 80s, but followed a career in IT until I retired this year. My home is full of paintings. Now at last I have the time to get back to my art properly and see where it will take me - an exciting prospect!
I particularly enjoyed running training courses during my time in IT so I'm hoping to transfer those skills over and run some training days in landscape painting and working with acrylics. Let me know if you would be interested.
Another aspect I like about acrylic is the glazing effect where transparent layers of colour can be laid one on top of another. Acrylic is waterproof when dry, so layers can be built up quickly.
